I went in for a brake inspection because I had some grinding noise. They gave me an estimate for repair and I decided not to get it fixed today due to the prices. They wanted to charge me $69.99 for a part that is sold at NAPA for $37.49 to the public. That means it’s even less for them with their industry discount. They also wanted to charge me $73.31 for a part that is sold at NAPA for $41.49. Wanted to charge me $104.49 for a part that is $55.99 at NAPA. Lastly, wanted to charge me 56.28 for a part that is $34.49 at NAPA. Wow, that comes out to over $165 over the retail price for these parts at NAPA. This was also after they found me “two additional discounts”. Sheesh. Additionally, I tried to drive off after I declined their services and MY BRAKES DIDN’T WORK. Literally, my car was no longer drivable. When I asked them why they seemed to get irritated with me and that I was insinuating it was their fault. While I just wanted to know why my brakes worked fine when I arrived to their shop but now after I refused the service my car has no brakes. They seemed to be getting angry that I was asking what happened. A second guy came in and became quite defensive and raised his voice that I needed to get my brakes fixed a long while ago. While this may be true, my car worked when I got there, and became not drivable after visiting their shop. So now I will be getting my car towed out of their parking lot at my own expense while never really understating how my brakes became completely shot after visiting this shop. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone unless you’d like your car to have more problems than it did when you brought it in. The mark ups on parts they charge here is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. And now, a $34.00 inspection plus a tow truck fee, I now have a car that doesn’t work.
